07 April - World Health Day
Today is World Health Day - a particularly meaningful day for us. Health is our most valuable asset. "Health for all" is the motto of Maharishi Ayurveda and of soma.
Ayurveda defines the term health in the classical texts: balance of bodily functions (doshas, digestive energy, bodily tissues and excretions) and well-being of mental functions (soul, mind and senses). This definition also gives us the instructions for comprehensive health care. All the functions mentioned form control circuits that can be brought into balance through natural applications from Maharishi Ayurveda. The large part that mental and spiritual well-being plays in our health is significant.
In soma we have chosen the 5 pillars of health as strategies on the path to good health. They are the orientation aids on the path to lasting health.
We look forward to your feedback!
