What is Pancha Karma
A traditional Pancha Karma cure consists of 5 forms of treatment and is an extremely effective method of subjecting body, mind and soul to a profound and lasting purification and regeneration.
Stimulation of the self-healing powers
The healing effects of the individual therapies build logically on each other and complement each other. Through the individual treatment steps, toxins and harmful substances stored in the body (such as: heavy metals or acids) are systematically removed. Health improves, which usually leads to significant relief in the case of chronic illness and increases vitality and performance in the case of a healthy person.
Individual therapy for your type
Every Ayurvedic treatment starts with an Ayurvedic pulse diagnosis and a detailed conversation to determine your constitution. This can be done in person or by (video) telephone. The treatments of a Pancha Karma cure can be adapted to you based on your constitutional type as well as the existing clinical picture.
In our house we offer about 25 different treatments. For your individual Ayurveda cure, the appropriate treatments will be put together for you personally. This means that every treatment in our house is unique.

Medicinal oils
On the basis of this determination, you will receive a herbal oil that is tailored to your body. All the oils and herbal essences used are made from precious ingredients and are medicinalised in our in-house oil kitchen especially for your treatment on a doctor's orders. During the treatments, the medicated oils dissolve toxins in the body and are eliminated through the applications. The ingredients of the oils penetrate the skin and cells and nourish them. Tension and stress are released.
Let go and enjoy the silence
In order to achieve an ideal cure success, all our massages are performed in silence. Plan sufficient rest and recovery times after all treatments, even during the cure. The success of the therapy depends on this.
All our treatments are carried out by two therapists in agreement and only the same sex is treated in each case. Women are treated by female therapists and men by male therapists.
Medical consultations
The course and progress of the Pancha Karma cure is checked daily by means of pulse diagnosis and possible therapy changes are made. At the end of the cure, a medical health and nutrition consultation is conducted during a personal final consultation so that you can take away clear strategies for your life after the cure. This ensures that the success of the cure will last as long as possible.
The 5 treatments of the Pancha Karma cure
Translated, Pancha Karma means "the five actions" (Pancha = five, Karman = actions).
The purpose of Panacha Karma therapy is to eliminate excess doshas and ama and to purify the shrotas so that the organism can return to its natural balance.
A traditional Pancha Karma cure consists of 5 treatments and is an extremely effective method to subject body, mind and soul to a deep and lasting purification and regeneration.
The 5 treatments of the main cure are:
- Vamana - vomiting (not performed in Europe!).
- Virechana - purging
- Basti - Medicinal enemas
- Nasya - Nasal purge treatment for head, neck and shoulders
- Rakta Mokshan - bloodletting
Even if you have only done one of these five treatments, you can still be said to have done Pancha Karma.
Each cleansing cure consists of 3 phases: Pre-cure, main cure and the post-cure. Pancha Karma is assigned to the main cure. Pre-cure and post-cure are usually done at home.
