Preventive care for pregnant womenThe mother-child pass is used for preventive health care for pregnant women and small children. It includes the medical examinations provided for in the Mother-Child Pass Programme during pregnancy and up to the child's 5th birthday.

"Advising expectant mothers and young families on natural and efficient measures in health matters, especially also in the case of chronic and recurring illnesses of infants and children, is a special matter close to my heart!"

- Dr. Wolfgang Schachinger

We offer the following MKP services in our practice:

  • Internal examination of the expectant mother (approx. 20th week of pregnancy)
  • all laboratory examinations during pregnancy (urine, all blood tests, sugar load test)
  • all child examinations from the first week of life until the age of 5 (except ultrasound of the hips and eye examination in the 2nd year of life)

The mother-child-pass examinations are billed according to the health insurance tariff and are reimbursed by the health insurance company.
