In the body's internal information flow, the foot is one of the most important main sources of information. It is the beginning and end of a functional chain that runs from the foot to the head and back. Along this path, our brain controls the entire musculoskeletal system and balance controls posture. If the receptors of the foot report weak muscle tension, a momentous chain reaction occurs. The end result is poor posture of the entire body, as well as misalignment of the pelvis and spine and even the jaw joints - accompanied by pain. Cause and effect are often far apart For example, the cause of neck pain can also be a misalignment of the feet! Signals from strong muscles correct misalignments and pain. This is the starting point for therapy with sensorimotor shoe insoles. The insoles make use of the principle of sensorimotor function. This means that they activate the foot reflex zones and stimulate the foot muscles in such a way that they send out relaxing, balancing and thus pain-relieving signals. The focused shock wave therapy A focused shock wave device generates sound waves that are transmitted through a cone-shaped applicator to the injured or painful tissue. These sound waves stimulate the cells on site and thus activate self-healing. In addition, slowly conducting nerve fibres are overstimulated and thus the pain transmission is suppressed. Shock wave therapy offers a scientifically proven, non-surgical alternative, especially for complaints of the musculoskeletal system, which often occur after injuries or chronic overstraining. This means that the patient determines the intensity of the treatment himself, depending on his pain tolerance! A treatment usually lasts 15 to 20 minutes. Depending on the symptoms, 3-5 sessions are carried out at intervals of 1-2 weeks. As mentioned above, the stimulation of the damaged cells leads to a reactivation of the self-healing process and thus to a cell activation and tissue healing that goes beyond the duration of the treatment. Maharishi Ayurveda Sukshma Marma Therapy. "Marma" comes from Sanskrit and means switching or energy point. The human body is home to a total of 108 main and thousands of smaller marma points. Each point has its own specific task and function and can be understood as a control instrument for the energy flow of the body. Through these control points it is possible to influence assigned body parts and organs. The form of Marma Therapy used in our practice, the Sukshma Marma Therapy ®, was developed by Dr. Ernst Schrott from Regensburg in years of research and development work together with the greatest experts in this field. The main mechanisms of action of the Marma Therapy are: releasing energetic blockages Activate the energy flow in the pathways (nadis) Balancing energy surplus or deficiency In addition to the physical body, the human being also has an energy body. In the finest energy field, the original order is restored through the gentle Marma reflex point massage. This principle of order permeates all energy fields up to the physical body. In this way, the body cells "remember" the correct order and the body itself can regain flow, harmony, balance and thus health. The marma points can also be described as "cosmic switching points" in which the primordial sound of creation vibrates. "Marma is the seat of life" says the Sushruta Samhita, one of the oldest classical textbooks of Ayurvedic medicine. How does a Marma therapy work? In 30 or 45 minutes of pure treatment time, the therapist very gently touches the Marma points that match the symptoms in an individually coordinated sequence. Supported by essential oils, the gentle, slow massage movements have an extremely relaxing and soothing effect. In order to intensify the effect of the therapy after the treatment, a 30-minute rest period immediately following the treatment is very important, during which the patient's entire system processes the energetic impulses. Indication: Marma therapy is especially recommended for all kinds of joint and spinal problems as well as stress and overstrain complaints.
