In view of the current situation, we would like to report once again on the importance of Maharishi Amrit Kalash for a strong immune system. The Corona pandemic teaches us how important it is to practice effective self-protection. Even though this is completely neglected by the health authorities: effective self-protection consists on the one hand of sensible adherence to hygiene and distance rules, and on the other hand of effective measures to strengthen the immune system. A safe vaccination is not within reach. Therefore, only non-specific immunisation measures can be recommended.

Studies over the past decades have repeatedly confirmed the improvement of immune performance through the use of Amrit Kalash.*

Immunity Booster of the Year Award

The Indian HEAL Foundation held a competition called the Immunity Champion of the Year Awards. The winner of this competition was Maharishi Amrit Kalash as "Immunity Booster of the Year". In the citation for the award, the organisers say, "This award was given to the leading nutritional supplement company that did exemplary work in this field during the COVID-19 pandemic. This product helped people strengthen their immune system to overcome the pandemic." This award was given by a high-level jury of national and international experts in this sector. This jury had a strict shortlist of applicants for the award and found Maharishi Amrit Kalash to be particularly helpful as a 'Super Rasayana' as an immune system tonic and therefore deserving of this award.

Acceptance speech Dr Anand Shrivastava

In his acceptance speech after the award ceremony, Dr Anand Shrivastava, Chairman of Maharishi Ayurveda Products India, said, 'We are overjoyed to have won this award for the efficacy of Rasayana Amrit Kalash, the immune booster. This award is a great reassurance for us, a morale booster of sorts." According to Ayurveda, rasayanas have the characteristic of enhancing or reducing bodily processes in such a way that perfect balance can arise. Rasayanas have a multi-directional effect, so that the processes in the body attain stability and retain it for a long time. This has a vitalising effect on the immune system and is the key to preventing disease. Building immunity and strengthening our physical and mental wellbeing is paramount in these challenging times."

Why strong immune system?

The COVID-19 pandemic brings us to the realisation that a strong immune system is one of the greatest benefits we humans have. A strong immune system helps to fight off infections and reduce the risk of contagious diseases.

The organiser HEAL Foundation writes in its award citation: "The immune system is responsible for fighting foreign invaders such as pathogenic bacteria and viruses in the body. A strong immune system can also destroy cells within the body that become cancerous. That's why the importance of "immunity boosting" has increased several times in our time."

Summary

Research into the effects of Maharishi Amrit Kalash on the immune system has been going on for decades. The Indian HEAL Foundation took the COVID-19 pandemic as an opportunity to highlight the helpful effects of Maharishi Amrit Kalash and recognise it with the Immunity Booster of the Year Award.
