Maharishi Amrit Kalash has a special place in the ancient texts of Ayurvedic medicine. It is treated in the most important work "Charaka Samhita" as the first and most important of the great "Rasayanas", which are the remedies that improve vitality.

Ayurvedic Rasayanas

"Rasayana" means that which "keeps the humours of the body in motion". This refers to the nutrient fluid that washes around all tissues. In Western medicine it is called the "basic substance".

When the digestive system is strong, Maharishi Amrit Kalash can be converted directly into "ojas" in the body. "Ojas", the essence of digestion, nourishes all tissues and keeps them healthy and strong. "Ojas" establishes the connection between mind and body and ensures that the subtle breath energy "Prana" is sufficiently available.

Of the organs, the lungs, heart, liver and nerves in particular are strengthened. This makes them more resistant to disease and ageing. The texts recommend Maharishi Amrit Kalash to reduce susceptibility to all conceivable diseases, especially to protect against infections.

Who should take Amrit Kalash?

Maharishi Amrit Kalash ensures the integrity and invulnerability of the person who applies it. It gives better and better protection against adverse environmental influences after prolonged use. This is certainly true for germs, but can possibly also be assumed for other environmental influences such as toxic chemicals, radiation, etc.

The classical texts recommend especially the yogis and the scholars to use Maharishi Amrit Kalash regularly because it promotes development of consciousness, mental clarity and good memory. It supports the holistic perception of the universe, the realisation that everything is connected to everything else.
