More energy in spring

You have good intentions: get up early in the morning, do oil massages and yoga asanas to start the day fit. But the bed pillow won't let you go. Despite the alarm clock, you have no chance of getting up earlier than absolutely necessary.

Can you ever change that? Or is there no chance of ayurvedic morning rituals for morning grouches?

One of the main reasons for tiredness in the morning is the accumulation of ama. The mind or body has not finished processing something. This can either make you restless and rob you of sleep or make your body so tired and heavy that you can only do the bare minimum in the morning.

1. more energy in everyday life through a rested mind and body

Stress, irregular daily routines, frequent changes of location and inappropriate nutrition are the main factors that make us feel burdened. Sufficient sleep at night, regular transcendental meditation and restful weekends can neutralise these stresses. But do you always make time for this?

If you love morning rituals and recognise the importance of them, you will inevitably have to go to bed a little earlier in the evening. We feel particularly relaxed in the evening and find it difficult to stop pleasant activities and go to sleep early.

Many people try to bring their bedtime forward by 1-2 hours in the evening. This usually doesn't work.

Try to go to bed 5 minutes earlier each week and, one week later, set your alarm clock to ring a few minutes earlier. Continue this gradual change until you have reached your desired bedtime. This should be around 10 pm at the latest (possibly a little later in summer). 10 p.m. is the end of the Kapha period, at this time most of the tiredness has been absorbed and it is particularly easy to fall asleep at this time.

Caution: If you fall asleep early in the evening, e.g. while watching television, try to take a short walk at this time to avoid sleeping just before your planned night's sleep.

2. escape spring fatigue and finally be fit for morning rituals

In spring, Kapha dominates in nature. Excess Kapha causes tiredness in the mind and a feeling of heaviness in the body. Those who really suffer from spring fatigue find it difficult to get up in the morning.

Simple methods to reduce spring fatigue include fasting, detoxing and a much lighter diet. Above all, avoid late and heavy dinners, and make a resolution to do a spring cleanse. Our live herbal detox webinar is ideal for this. If this date is not suitable for you, there are 2 variants that you can do at any time: the Herbal Detox on Demand webinar or the Herbal Detox with accompanying written material.

3. fatiguing diseases (fatigue, long Covid,...)

Since corona at the latest, we have known that viral infections, but also vaccinations against viral infections, can cause long-lasting phases of severe fatigue and loss of performance. Medicine has agreed on names for these complaints, but not on a generally applicable treatment concept.

In our soma medical practice, we offer an effective concept for these long-lasting, chronic illnesses.
Essential aspects of these therapies, which are carried out after a detailed analysis of the vital substances, are Vital substance infusions, targeted phytotherapy, detox measures from Pancha Karma, personalised nutrition, exercise and ordering the rhythms of life.

4. bring hormones into balance

An important area for a lively, creative life is a good balance in the concert of hormones.

Hormones are the body's most important messenger substances, which can transmit important information to all areas of the body in a matter of seconds.

Stress, chronic overwork, poor diet and the excessive use of artificial hormones lead to a complete loss of hormonal balance in many people. This opens the door to fatigue, sleep disorders, mood swings and a wide range of physical and psychological problems.

Clarification of the hormonal situation by means of blood and saliva tests can precisely identify imbalances. An imbalance can be compensated for with natural bio-identical hormones until the body regains its own ability to regulate itself.

Blood and saliva tests to clarify the hormonal situation are available in our practice at any time by appointment.

5 Healthy gut, healthy body and mind

According to Ayurveda, the gut is the centre of our lives. Healthy gut - healthy body. How do I realise that my bowels are not in order? These are typical symptoms: irregular bowel movements, constipation or diarrhoea, flatulence, abdominal pain, heartburn, all food intolerances (e.g. lactose, fructose, gluten or histamine intolerance), tiredness after eating...

Intestinal rehabilitation using a wide variety of methods is one of the most important tasks at our soma centre. Inpatient, outpatient and webinar-accompanied Ayurveda cures are among the most important instruments of intestinal rehabilitation. After every Ayurvedic treatment, a lasting feeling of vitality and energy is created.

After every intestinal cleansing, a systematic build-up of the intestinal flora is necessary to prevent old complaints from returning quickly. In addition to a mindful build-up diet, the newly developed preparation Triphala pro is an excellent means of ensuring the build-up of healthy intestinal flora, which is important for all functions of the mind and body. Take 2 - 3 capsules of Triphala pro daily after each cleansing cure to optimise your intestinal flora and thus your health.
