The neem tree grows in almost all of India and is highly valued for the healing properties of its fruits, branches and roots. Neem is popularly known as the miracle tree because of its great healing power. In everyday life, neem is used wherever unwelcome "guests" such as ants appear in the house or pests in the garden and fields. According to the classical Ayurvedic texts, neem has a cooling, blood-cleansing and digestive strengthening effect on humans. Neem is used internally when wounds heal poorly and when parasites or stubborn germs weaken the body. Neem strengthens the digestive fire Agni and improves the metabolism, especially if there is a tendency to diabetes.

Because of its Pitta-balancing effect, Neem tablets are given especially at the end of summer to remove the accumulated heat and to purify the blood, which has a lower immune power due to the hot temperatures in summer.

Dosage: 2 times 1-2 tablets daily.

Neem oil is used externally in humans when poorly healing wounds, lichen or ulcers affect health. Another field of application in humans are skin infections caused by mites or lice.

In the home and garden, neem oil can be used with a sprayer as a completely non-toxic insecticide.
