The role of slags and vital substance deficiency

Spring fatigue

According to Ayurveda, spring is assigned to Kapha Dosha. This means that the elements of fertility, water and earth, dominate with their qualities in nature. Since we humans are part of nature, the increase of Kapha also affects our mind-body system. When Kapha is in balance, the effect of spring is that we feel especially strong, grounded and stable. Our defenses are excellent, the mind calm and content. It is a joy to witness the blossoming of nature. Many people experience just the opposite: spring fatigue, infections and allergies.

Frühjahrsmüdigkeit

Kapha disorders in spring

Many people suffer from spring: "It's the same every year. I feel tired and listless. The whole body is heavy as lead and the mucus I have been suffering from since an infection in February further hinders me," is the typical statement of a patient at this time of year. According to Ayurveda, these complaints are due to an accumulation of kapha, which is typical for this time of year. According to Maharishi Ayurveda, undigested food (ama) and lack of vital substances are responsible.

Detox eliminates fatigue

Many of our patients have already completed our proven herbal detox cure at home this spring. This is an excellent way to start the spring freed from waste products. Less fatigue, better mood, less susceptibility to infections and fewer allergic complaints are typical results. "After the herbal detox cure I feel great, have more energy again and have improved my eating habits." Mr. Josef Z.

"After participating in the Herbal Detox webinar, I get through the day full of energy and in a good mood, despite getting up at 5 a.m. (!) and working." Ms. Charlotte M.

Build-up of vital substances - Rasayana therapy

Elimination of waste products is an essential pillar of treatment to avert springtime fatigue. According to Maharishi Ayurveda, it is important to replenish and optimize vital substances after each cleansing. In the classical texts, the so-called "Rasyanas" are prescribed for this purpose. These are usually very complex preparations of medicinal plants and minerals. Famous is Maharishi Amrit Kalash (MA4), which has proven positive effects to improve alertness and mental clarity. Another important rasayana is Triphala Plus (MA505), which supports the digestive organs in daily detoxification.

omolecular medicine - founded by Nobel Prize winner Linus Pauling

Due to modern biochemical research, initiated mainly by the American chemist and Nobel Prize winner Dr. Linus Pauling, the medical application of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and oleic acids is becoming increasingly important. This branch of medicine is called orthomolecular medicine. Many of the remedies used here are nowadays administered according to the "shotgun principle": if a preparation has many ingredients, there will already be one that helps. It makes sense to find out which person suffers from deficiencies of which substances.

Vitamin D

In recent years, the importance of vitamin D as an essential micronutrient has received a great deal of public attention. Yet, most people dose vitamin D incorrectly: too low, too high, at the wrong time... Do you know your vitamin D level? An adequate vitamin D level is one of the most important precautionary measures you can take in times of dangerous infections.

Whole blood analysis

By taking a blood sample, it is possible to analyze exactly which vital substances are missing. Here, too, there are special features. When minerals are measured in serum, this value often does not reflect the real need, because many minerals are enriched in the cells and not in the serum. This is why conventional blood tests often give incorrectly high or low values for potassium, magnesium, copper, zinc, selenium or iron. This also leads to misjudgement of whether or not replacement of these minerals is necessary. In our practice, we exclusively perform the analysis of trace elements from whole blood. This gives us a picture of the real conditions in the body. Especially deficiencies of potassium, magnesium and zinc are often responsible for fatigue.

Vital substance therapy

In our practice we are particularly specialized in the clarification and treatment of fatigue, which is called "fatigue" in medical terminology. In order to treat chronic fatigue effectively, besides Ayurvedic therapy (balancing Kapha), an exact analysis and replacement therapy of vital substances is promising. After the detailed blood examination, which includes much more parameters than a usual preventive examination, the missing micronutrients can be replaced in different ways. In most cases, the intake of orthomolecular preparations as food supplements is sufficient. In cases of severe deficiencies, vital substance infusions have proven particularly effective in our practice. "I had heavier menstrual bleeding in the last six months and have only been tired since then. Ayurvedic therapy together with iron and vitamin infusions has brought me back on my feet. I feel vital and capable again," Mrs. Petra C. from Salzburg tells us.

Summary

Chronic fatigue or springtime tiredness can be caused by slagging and vital substance deficiencies. A clarification through special laboratory tests (whole blood analysis) after blood sampling in our office brings light into the darkness. Missing vital substances can be supplemented by dietary supplements or infusions in our practice.
